This course studies existing and emerging wireless data networks for Internet access, with focuses on IEEE wireless standards including IEEE 802.11, IEEE 802.15, and IEEE 802.16. It discusses the physical layer technologies and medium access control techniques of these networks, as well as various network and transport layer issues in these wireless access networks.
